Ecoliterature book reviews, reflections and resources
Our intention is to gradually grow the EarthLines website and blog to be a resource for information about/ reflections on/ reviews of books that fall loosely into the category of ‘ecoliterature’ i.e. books about nature, place or the environment. This includes nonfiction, fiction and poetry. In this section of the website, you'll find a growing list of recommended reading in a variety of categories, and we will be adding links to information about the books (this project is just beginning, so please bear with us!).
We also hope over time to build up a list of reviews and reflections of some of those books from a variety of guest contributors; those articles will first appear as articles on the EarthLines blog and will be linked from the these pages. If you’d like to contribute something, please contact us. Books covered can be old or new, and can be already on the list we're putting together here, or something we haven't added yet. We’re not necessarily looking for complete reviews; we’re open to reflections on specific aspects of a book, and discussions of specific ideas that they convey. We're also perfectly happy to include more than one piece on the same book, so don't assume that if it's already been discussed we won't want any more thoughts on it. Some of these books warrant endless reflection!
You can contact Sharon Blackie info[at]earthlines[dot]org[dot]uk to submit your reflection/ recommendations.
