Unfortunately, since we first posted our subscription prices, an unexpected and enormous price increase in postal charges at Royal Mail, effective from April 2012, has meant that we have had to increase the prices for subscriptions outside of the UK. We apologise for the fact that these new subscription prices will be higher than prices shown in EarthLines Issue 1 (May 2012), and on our leaflets, but if we don't cover these extra postal charges we'll make a significant loss.
We do not plan to distribute EarthLines through newsstands. Among our many reasons for this, the key reason is waste. Around 50% of all magazines that are printed and distributed to newsagents in the UK remain unsold and are pulped. We believe this is a significant waste of natural resources – especially of trees. It certainly doesn't match the EarthLines ethic. We are more than happy to supply magazines to individual bookshops and other relevant outlets (please see our Trade page for details) but we envisage that the majority of our sales will take place through subscriptions or through individual sales on this website.

EarthLines will be a high-quality, A4, full-colour magazine of 64 pages. The cover price per copy will be £4.99. P&P is free on UK orders; however, due to high air mail costs we have to make a charge (which is smaller than the full cost) for overseas orders. If you take out a subscription your magazines will be discounted by 50p per copy.
We also offer digital subscriptions at £2.99 per single issue, £11 for a year. Links to digital editions for Issue 1 will be emailed immediately.
If you would like to send EarthLines (either a single issue, or a subscription) as a gift to someone else, we'll send them a personal card with details of the gift, including any message you'd like us to give on your behalf. Please make sure to include the name and address of the person you're sending the gift to, along with your message, in the comments box on the PayPal order form, or by separate email to us (info[at]earthlines[dot]org[dot]uk) if you can't find it or run out of room. Or write it out, if you're subscribing by post. (If you're ordering a digital gift subscription, we'll send the recipients an email with this information.)
SUBSCRIBING ONLINE USING A CREDIT CARD: Please use the buttons below. Due to very high processing costs and fees we're unable to take credit cards by telephone or mail. (Please note that PayPal is one of the most secure payment methods available, and it is very flexible. But you don't have to set up a PayPal account to make the payment: you can simply use a credit card for a one-off purchase.)
